Zoom Drive Lesson

Personal desktop utility

Lesson recordings,
ready to share.

Zoom Drive Lesson is a private-use automation run on its operator’s own computer. It transfers a selected Zoom lesson recording to the operator’s Google Drive and prepares a message with the recording link.

This website provides application information only.
The automation runs locally. This website has no sign-in form, receives no OAuth credentials and hosts no lesson recordings.

What the utility does

  1. Uses a local browser session to locate the latest recording in the configured Zoom Personal Room and select Shared screen with speaker view.
  2. Downloads that single video and uploads it to the Google Drive account authorized by the operator.
  3. Checks the uploaded file and applies the operator’s configured link-sharing permission. The current workflow allows anyone with the link to edit the file.
  4. Removes its local video copy after successful upload and sharing verification, then prepares a WhatsApp message with the Drive link. The operator sends the message manually.

Why Google authorization is requested

The utility requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file to create recording files and access the Drive files available to this application. It uses this access to upload the video, inspect its metadata, verify the upload and manage the file’s sharing permissions.

It does not request Gmail, Google Contacts or Google Calendar access. Zoom browser sign-in is separate from Google Drive authorization.
